Helping a chilli sauce business say yes to its biggest opportunity yet.
Make iwoca a finance partner that business owners recognise and trust when an opportunity arrives.
For the latest chapter of “Business finance for the moments that matter”, we needed to make the value of funding feel personal and tangible. The story follows a chili sauce company landing its biggest order yet, and using iwoca to bridge the cashflow gap between winning the deal and getting paid.
A growing business can have everything going for it and still need cash at the right moment. Ingredients, equipment and storage all need paying for before a major order brings money into the bank.
Our challenge was to make that timing gap easy to understand, while capturing the excitement and pride behind the decision. The founder and their team had worked hard for this opportunity. Finance was a practical way to make it happen.
But to tell that story convincingly, we first had to build a business the audience could believe in.
We created a chili sauce brand for the film, developing its logo, packaging and advertising posters. Every element needed to feel like it belonged to an established business ready to take its next step.
The identity carried through from the bottles and labels the team handled to the posters around their workspace and the products appearing on supermarket shelves. That consistency gave the business a history and personality, helping the audience believe in it within seconds.
The design also became part of the storytelling. Seeing the brand move from the team’s workspace into production and onto the shelf made the opportunity tangible. It gave viewers something to follow, and the founder something to feel proud of.
A character-led film that brings a familiar business challenge to life with warmth, personality and momentum.
Live-action footage follows the team from preparation to production and finally, the supermarket shelf. Ther emotional payoff: seeing the team’s hard work become something bigger with the campaign promise: “Business finance for the moments that matter.”
A simple story about having the cash to say yes when the opportunity comes.
